Black Paradise Penthouse was founded in 2021 by Jamaica Queens native and Nurse entrepreneur, Stephanie Sweeting. Her bold and luxurious vision was amplified by the stylings of The Copper Chair, LLC.
This space has a bold vintage design, an opulent feel and a breath taking ambiance. There isn’t one activity undeserving of this luxurious setting. Professional and amateur film and photo shoots, business and social media promotional recordings, company meetings and networking mixers, private dinner parties, music listening parties, intimate birthday gatherings, girls/guys night in, game nights and so much more.
Creatives and independent practitioners such as makeup artists, photographers, massage therapists, mental health counselor’s, influencers, podcast hosts, models, actors and esthetician’s would appreciate this space. Exact booking times negotiable.

General Rules
-Please respect check in and check out times
-Remove/cover shoes that are soiled or debris filled
-No illegal substances on the premises
-No Smoking on the premises (staircase or outside only)
-No rowdy parties or crowds
-Not suitable for pets
-Swing not suitable for >280lbs
– Do not swing or sway on the swing >5 min
– Note: Swing reinstall fee $300
– Do not touch or lean on brick wall art in graffiti corner
-Outside catering is allowed
-Extreme caution when drinking and/or eating near velvet linens and furnishings
-Alcohol on bar is not for consumption
-Alcohol consumption for adults 21yrs of age and older
– No glitter or confetti can be used
OVERTIME
Overtime will be billed in 15 min increments at a rate of $30 per 15 minutes. The space must be vacated and all items brought into the space must be removed by the end time of your reservation.
CLEANING / DAMAGES
Cleaning fee is included in the hourly rate, although guests are expected to leave the space in the same condition as they found it in. Guests must respect the space and we ask/appreciate that guests tidy up after themselves. Guest must remove any equipment or rentals you bring in, and you should factor this setup and teardown time in your booking hours.
Please take great care of our space. No nails, screws, staples, adhesives or penetrating items should be used on our walls. Most tapes damage the walls but can be applied for to crown moldings. If used, must be properly removed. Damages (walls, floors, furniture, etc) will be billed to the credit card on file with Peerspace.
FURNITURE
Please notify us in advance if you need to move furniture in the space to suit your event needs.
MISCELLANEOUS
There is no smoking/hookah OF ANY KIND allowed in the space. There is no open flame or frying of pungent dishes allowed on site or any cooking that will create a large amount of smoke as our space has items that absorb smells easily.
-Security cameras may be utilized at any time to ensure rules are being adhered to.
